Alex Wait Announces Run for Indiana State House to Help Families Afford to Thrive

Northern Indiana, Alex Wait today announced his campaign for Indiana State House, launching a campaign centered on one clear belief: families who work hard should be able to afford to stay and build a life here.

Wait, a young father who chose to move home to raise his daughter in Northern Indiana, said the decision to run came from living the same pressure many families feel every day.

“I came home to raise my family here, and I’m running so your family can afford to stay here,” Wait said. “Right now, too many families are doing everything right and still falling behind. It is the class size your kid sits in. It is the support a struggling student may or may not get. Our schools are anchors for families and employers. They deserve steady support, not noise.”
